VizyTerms of Use
By creating a Vizy account you accept the rules below. They are short, because the service is too. We may change them: the date at the top of this page changes when we do, and continuing to use the service counts as acceptance.
What the service is
Vizy lets you create and publish a digital business card, reachable at an address of your own and by QR code.
A free service
Vizy is free, with no credit card and no time limit. Should that ever change, existing accounts would be told at least 30 days in advance and could export their data (the contact file) or delete their account before anything changed.
Your card is public
A published card is visible to anyone who knows its address, without an account or signing in. Only publish what you are willing to share publicly.
Acceptable use
Your card must stay personal and professional: no unlawful or misleading content, no impersonating anyone. You are responsible for what you publish on it, and you must have the right to publish it, your photo included. To report a card that breaks these rules, write to the address given in the privacy policy: we take it down without delay if the report is founded.
Ending an account
You can delete your account at any time from its settings. We can also close an account that does not follow these rules, without notice in a case of obvious abuse.
Liability
Vizy is a free service, provided as it is. We do what it takes to keep it available and your data safe, but we guarantee neither uninterrupted availability nor the absence of errors. We are liable only for intent or gross negligence, in accordance with Art. 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations. We are not responsible for the content members publish on their cards, nor for third-party sites a card links to. Keep a copy of the information that matters somewhere else: the contact file downloadable from every card is one.
Governing law
Swiss law applies. In the event of a dispute, the courts at the operator's seat have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory venues provided by law, in particular in favour of consumers.
